Hotels.com - Chaplain Obvious

With over two million weddings each year in the United States, the Wedding Season struggle is real. Hotels.com knows how stressful tying the knot can be and wants brides and grooms everywhere to know they have their back.

 

So Hotels.com amplified their range of wedding services, including affordable group bookings and wedding registry, and giving soon-to-be-hitched guys and gals the chance to “do you" with Chaplain Obvious.

 

We created "Chaplain Obvious", AKA Captain Obvious, the first-ever brand icon to become legally ordained and officiate weddings.  Chaplain Obvious helped a local Vail couple create an epic ceremony unlike anything their friends had seen before. 

To get the word out, we partnered with The Knot to cover the story and promote Hotels.com's wedding services to newly engaged couples. The partnership included co-branded social posts, articles and rich media units. 

ROLE:
